Situated on the banks of the Giritale Reservoir within the district
capital of Polonnaruwa, five hours by road from the capital, Colombo,

Journey to Deer Park Hotel by Road
Deer Park Hotel arranges chauffeur driven cars for a convenient and
relaxing journey from the airport to the hotel. If you prefer to make
your own way by rented car to the property proceed from Colombo to
Kurunegala either by Kandy Road, or by Minuwangoda Road via Ja-ela.
From Kurunegala turn towards Dambulla and proceed up to Habarana.
At the Habarana junction, turn right onto the Polonnaruwa main road.
En-route you will pass Moragaswewa, Ambagaswewa & Minneriya before
you reach Giritale. Deer Park Hotel is on the banks of the Giritale
reservoir, 10 miles before Polonnaruwa.
